Introduction to Automotive.

Join us for a 2 hour, in-shop educational class about the basics of care and understanding of your car or truck. Learn when and how to check your car or truck's fluid levels, identify the condition of your tires and how to check/adjust tire air pressure, and understand what all the lights on your dash mean. We will touch on all the primary mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic systems that make your car work!

This class is meant for those who have never been around or experienced working on a car. Learning and understanding these basic items can potentially save you hundreds, if not thousands in repair and maintenance costs over the life of your car. Our goal is to teach and equip you with the knowledge to know and understand when a problem arises and be able to relay that information to a professional.

This class is intended for ladies only.

Introduction to Automotive Welding.

Join us for a 2.5 hour, of our in-shop look into the art of automotive welding and fabrication.
Get your hands dirty with a hands-on opportunity to learn and practice a new skill. Here we will be discussing the various types of welding and their uses. MIG (Metal-Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten-Inert Gas) are the two prevalent types of welding in the automotive repair and performance industries. We will cover the when, why, where, and how to choose between these two types and practice with Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum.

This class is meant for those who have an interest in learning a new skill, and understanding how YOU can make repairs and/or fabricate pieces and parts.
This is a skill that doesn’t just carry into the Automotive industry, as various forms carry into Jewelry, Aeronautics, Marine, and many others!

*This class requires Long Sleeves, Jeans, and close-toe shoes.
